Three desks. Three editorial voices. One price-tracking machine.
The Daily Dealmakers is a network of three editorial deals desks, each with its own voice and subject matter. Dog Deals is run by a dog owner — Bodhan is a 125-pound German Shepherd who goes through gear fast. Chef is run by someone who cooks seriously. Nomad is run by someone living out of a van.
The price tracking and deal pipeline is automated. The editorial voice is not.
Deal content online is mostly noise — expired listings, dropship junk, sponsored posts disguised as curation. This network is built differently: every deal is checked against 90-day price history before it appears. If a product is not actually cheaper than it was last month, it does not appear as a "deal."
The editorial voice is informational, not promotional. Dog Deals surfaces ASPCA-flagged ingredients in food products. Chef surfaces whether a knife's steel grade justifies its price. Nomad surfaces whether a solar panel's real-world output matches its rated wattage.
Deals are pulled from multiple sources every four hours, filtered by relevance keywords for each desk, and deduplicated. Product pages are scraped to enrich deal cards with images, brand data, ratings, and category information. Deals below a minimum discount threshold against 90-day price history are excluded.
What gets excluded: off-topic products, expired deals, unverified third-party sellers, and anything that fails the keyword filter.
The Daily Dealmakers earns a commission from purchases made through links on this site. This does not affect which deals are featured or how they are ranked. Affiliate relationships are disclosed on every page. Deal selection is driven by price history and editorial criteria, not advertiser relationships.
